Lol Marbas more reassured that he won't have any boredom now that he's met Snow too is amusing. I didn't think the meet would be so soon, I thought Snow would just miss them or something but this is also fine. I look forward to seeing Snow going against his doctrine in order to protect Wisteria because I'm sure that sort of development is going to come.
Nice that we got introduced to another human who has made a pact with a demon and that demon is also very well acquainted with Marbas it seems. I am curious what Diana sacrificed in order to make a pact with Naberius.
maybe Diana's sacrifice was her family (after-credit scene)? But who knows.. i'm looking forward to finding out ^^
Nothing is as important as family -Vin Diesel
At the very least, this setup would make the series more interesting unlike the usual cat and mouse chase. I'd like to see Snow struggle to find ways to cover the fact that his sister is contracted to a Demon.
Snow deciding family is more important than his job, and then immediately returning to his job instead of staying with Wis.... how stupid is he?
cat demon forgot his new master is newly blind and is bound to her. I knew that white-haired hunk towering over her is that dog demon
Well, he is wearing that stupid collar even in human form, so...
New wolf daddy has entered the chat >u>
I prefer cat daddy in demon form, but wolf daddy in human form.
Damn… I want my own muscular furry too :<
Yohhh it’s just 2nd ep… They’re already united & all?
That's what I was wondering. Like what's the crux of the rest of the show going to be? Fending off would be attackers & "puppy" love?
Amazing, just amazing. I'm really loving how this is going. I'm just praying Maria's and Wisteria journey will be a safe one. Also Really love the opening and ending
Wisteria made a new friend Marbas will protect her at any cost now they will be hunted.
We just learned how important bonds are, with Marbas testing their family bond. And we end this episode with the newly introduced character killing all her family members. At least that's my guess. So much for family ties.
The pact in the first episode made it feel unique. Since Marbas clearly gave the impression he doesn't make a pact often or lightly. But it appears all Calamities had the same idea. That unique shine it had, has certainly been lifted now that they casually bump into another Calamity & contractor doing some shopping.
Great episode.
Diana is Wisteria's first female friend they will be close.
Ah yes, Amuse me Humans.
Let me see some more calamities.
Diana did she murder people there is more to her.
Lovely episode especially when they eating the dinner Marbas feed her and helped her shop for clothes Wisteria met her brother.
It was a crazy family reunion, but it was nice to see that Snow can trust Marbas to protect his sister Wisteria as they're being hunted.
Yes it is Bittersweet thanks for the comment.
Both Marbas and Wisteria are cute together.
Yes
Opening is great.
Ending as well ^_^
Yes awesome ending Archie.
Why do I feel a Zatch Bell! feeling here?
A human-demon partner.
There gonna be some special power between the two later I guess.
Zatch Bell? Dang, there's a name that brings back some memories! :D
man that would be awesome, and based on the OP, it seems like at the very least some Demon Contactors did get some sort of power or at least support from the Demon.
I wasn't expecting Snow to meet Marbas and Wisteria this soon.
There must be a way to restore her eyesight. The f;kn mighty demon or the new girl should find a spell or something like that.
she should've just sacrificed one eye, like in Kyokou Suiri.
I was thinking they'd do shared eyesight, or maybe sonar at a stretch, but nope...
4:34 "the fairer sex"
Wtff is wrong with the english translations, and why are translators afraid of genders nowadays.
this is actually normal. I'm not sure about the US, but in European English, especially when you fill out a form with your details, it usually asks you what your "sex" (gender) is.
The Japanese said lady, not the fairer sex. I've been these past weeks noticing that some gendered words gets replaced by gender neutral words.
While you're right that the choice of expression sounds sexist, and it's why it is now mainly obsolete, even among the aristocracy in various cultures, it would be historically accurate to this particular English context, if I'm not mistaken.
But if you say gogo translations have been weird like that, I trust you, they're even coming up with odd new genres that make no sense, most times.
that phrase isn't anything new, it is an old one that's often used in referring to a Lady, it's especially used by the more high class folk(I believe) as a respectful way to refer to them. You'll find it often used by both men and women in some older animes that take place in European settings.
how I read that part: we should simp more on the fairer sex.
jesus I can tell this is gonna have a depressing ending already
yeah, that family reunion happened way too quickly and ended quite suddenly. like alot of other commenters on this episode, i thought this would be a season long 'Catch Me if You Can' story arc or running gag. Snow being just a few steps/days behind his sister. each episode he ends up having to use 'organization' resources to keep covering up what Marbas and Wisteria get into. kinda like those 'pinch of the week' adventure shows from the past.
Blackbell family... Is this a Black Butler reference? 😁
